1. Main Charging Gun Interface Standards

1.1 GB/T (China Standard)
The GB/T standard is China's charging interface standard. Since 2016, all new energy vehicles produced in China must comply with the GB/T 20234 standard. The rated voltage for GB/T AC chargers is generally 220V. The GB/T interface is divided into slow charging (AC) and fast charging (DC) types. The slow charging interface is a seven-pin design, mainly used for slow charging AC Charging Stations, and can generally provide up to 7kW of power output.

1.2 Type 1 - J1772 (North America and Japan Standard)
The Type 1, also known as J1772, is the standard AC charging gun used primarily in North America and Japan. This five-pin charging gun is designed for single-phase electricity and can provide up to 80A of current with a 240V input, offering a maximum power output of 19.2kW for Ev Chargers. Tesla vehicles in North America use their proprietary NACS charging gun interface, but all Tesla vehicles can be equipped with an adapter to connect to Type 1 charging heads.

1.3 Type 2 (Europe Standard)
The Type 2, also known as the European standard, is the charging interface standard for new energy vehicles in Europe, with a rated voltage of 230V. The Type 2 interface is similar to an engraving, with the black part being hollowed out, which is the opposite of the GB/T standard. The Type 2 interface is also divided into AC and DC types and is widely used in European charging stations.

1.4 Tesla Interface
Tesla has its own proprietary charging interface standard. In North America, Tesla uses the NACS interface, while in Europe, Tesla Model 3 and Model Y owners can directly use charging stations equipped with the CCS 2 interface. In China, Tesla uses the GB/T standard.
